Abstract

Beginning in February of this year, the Otavalo Institute of Anthropology organized a series of conferences dedicated to analyzing the ever-relevant topic of the formulation and implementation of a Cultural Policy in the country. The event, held for the first time in Ecuador, achieved remarkable success across a wide range of fields related to ideology, analysis, definition, and the planning of policies to be applied in the various spheres of cultural activity.
