Abstract

In Ethnographic and Popular Music and the Contribution of Imbabura to the History of Music, Carlos Alberto Coba Andrade presents a comprehensive study that covers everything from pre-Columbian cultures to current musical traditions. It highlights the festivities, genres and musical structures of Ecuador, with an emphasis on the contribution of Imbabura.
