Abstract

This essay explores the sociological dimensions within the works of Marx and Engels to critique capitalism in the 21st century. It surveys key concepts and interpretations of Marxism that have shaped the understanding and practice of sociology. The article is structured into three sections: the first outlines the critique of capitalism developed by Marx and Engels, the second discusses the concept of social classes and their significance in understanding societal organization, and the third highlights the importance of contextual analysis as a strategic component of political action.
