Dialogue with youth

Abstract

The IOA organized a Symposium on the problems of the contemporary world in May of this year, which was attended by students from the canton's high schools. Frank dialogue, a plurality of interpretations, and the desire to be heard were the general characteristics of the gathering. From this meeting, we have extracted the original thought, considering it a priority that the current era must open the mind and heart to address the unsettling way the current generation's problems are evaluated, and, to the extent possible, prevent the lack of dialogue from worsening the generational problem and, with it, the adoption of difficult or negative individual or massive attitudes.
