Abstract

This article explores the importance of play as a key pedagogical tool for the development of creativity, a human aspect often marginalized by the emphasis on Cartesian rationality in traditional education. It is argued that play, like art, has a liberating and transgressive potential that facilitates more comprehensive and humanizing learning. Through a combination of theory and critical reflection, a pedagogy is proposed that integrates play and art as means to cultivate creative faculties, thereby restoring vitality and meaning to the educational experience.
