Abstract

This article explores the "indigenous way of knowledge" as a way of knowing that transcends Western scientific rationality. Through the indigenous worldview, a holistic approach is revealed that integrates the human being with nature and the spiritual. This knowledge, mediated by entheogenic plants and ritual practices, is transmitted orally and fosters a harmonious relationship with the environment. By contrasting this path with the dominant vision of science, the need to rediscover and value these forms of knowledge is highlighted in order to restore the balance between humanity and nature.
