Abstract

The Otavalo Institute of Anthropology (Ecuador) and the University of Nariño (Colombia), within the framework of the academic and research collaboration agreement signed between the two institutions years ago, organized and held the Binational Creativity Seminar in Otavalo from April 26 to 28 of the current year. On the threshold of the new millennium, we have all come to understand the need to establish spaces that foster the creation of a holistic language, as we have grown weary of a linear, one-directional language. This is a language that, by encouraging the exchange of knowledge, enables and reinforces bonds of brotherhood and solidarity among peoples.
