Abstract

The subject of this essay is Ecuadorian Literature and some concerns that its reading and meditation have raised in my spirit. I consider these concerns to be very provisional, and as such subject to permanent review. Studying a literary work is not only looking for its meaning, but also an interpretation, and that search involves some keys that help to decipher its intimacy, its core meaning. Now, what are the keys that literary history can provide me to interpret this part of Hispanic literary art?
