Abstract

This article presents some conceptual references defined by the University of Otavalo to project the research, which would be unthinkable without the outstanding contribution of the Otavaleño Institute of Anthropology. Considering as an essential strategic axis research on sustainable human development, the scientific work system used by the university is explained, highlighting the place that the main project occupies in the research line of the
institution, and the system of projects by careers, which allow promoting formative research and pedagogical action from the classroom. Therefore, the article constitutes an effort by the authors to disseminate the peculiar, specific way
and differentiated that the university and its group of researchers have selected to develop scientific work with a very peculiar intention, through the line of research "Human development in the vision of good living and its relations with geocultural areas from a transdisciplinary perspective "and the main project" Models of sustainable human development in the vision of good living. " The main result is the establishment of a strategy for the development of research skills in students from the perspective of scientific research.
